9 Signs That You're The Robot Vacuum And Mop Expert
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle different floors. Find models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them and even managed to drive across raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single move. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working well. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station when required.
The robot is simple to install and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent, with a pair spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever needed. The mops are also replenished at the top of the station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a large margin around obstacles. This can result in missing spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. robot cleaner amazon can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for live video surveillance. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. It's essential to clean your home regularly, once a week. This is particularly important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.
Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 still offers the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with its 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home, which allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. This device also collects dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction when needed. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
